White House Says They Will Reject New #DACA Applicants #ImmigrationNews @Brad Show Live

LIVE: 7.29.2020 (00:03) The White House announced yesterday that it will reject new applications for the program Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) during a “comprehensive” review, despite the Supreme Court ruling rejecting President Trump's plan to end #DACA. (01:16) John Lewis will be laid to rest tomorrow. On Sunday, the casket of the civil rights icon was transported across the Edmund Pettus Bridge in Selma, Alabama, where 55 years ago he was beaten by state troopers as he helped lead the voting rights march. Lewis is the first Black lawmaker to lie in state at the Rotunda in Washington, D.C. President Trump announced that he will not pay respects to John Lewis at his ceremony and offered no explanation why. (03:34) According to the Center for American Women and Politics, a record number of black and or multi racial black women are running for congressional seats in this year's election. Historically, black women have been more likely to win in predominantly black districts, but in this cycle the majority are running in majority white or mixed districts. (05:14) Brad, Yonathan, and Vanessa discuss what they look for in a politician when voting. (09:20) In a press briefing, President Trump spoke of how people like infectious disease expert Dr. Anthony Fauci more than him. In a moment of self reflection, Trump mentioned how nobody likes him and chalked it up to people not liking his personality. President Trump’s approval rating has dipped due to his mishandling of the pandemic. In April, a poll found that 76% of Americans trust the information they get from Dr. Fauci. (10:45) President Trump announced that on August 15th he would be throwing out the 1st pitch at Yankee Stadium, this comes after Dr. Fauci threw the 1st pitch at a Washington Nationals game. It turns out that President Trump was never invited by the Yankees to throw out the 1st pitch. The New York Times reported that Trump was irritated that Fauci was given the honor. Brad and the team discuss the pettiness behind Trump’s actions. (13:28) The United States has passed 150,000 deaths from COVID-19. Brad vents his frustration as there is no outrage with the amount of people who have died from the virus, but if someone who is out of status were to kill someone, that would cause outrage in parts of the country. (14:59) Muslim pilgrims have arrived in Mecca for Hajj. The event usually draws millions of people from many countries, but this year due to the pandemic, only 1,000-10,000 people who reside in Saudi Arabia will be able to go to Mecca for Hajj. Hump Day News (16:00) A group of men have been taking provocative photos with chickens on Facebook. They even have their own hashtag #chickendaddies. (17:28) A man in the U.K. confidently strolled down the streets of London while using a face mask as a G-string. The stunt came after multiple fights broke out in supermarket aisles across England as some individuals confronted others for not wearing their face masks. (19:19) Some singles are making a hook up pact during the pandemic. The pact consists of two people agreeing to only sleep with each other in an effort to lessen their chances of contracting COVID-19. (21:05) A new drive thru strip club has opened in Houston, Texas. Patrons will be able to park and enjoy the show, but only for two songs. The entertainment serves as a distraction while the drivers wait for their food. (22:51) According to the livestreaming sex cam site, Stripchat, more than 75% of Americans are logging into their site while they’re at work. The site's traffic spikes every day around 3-4 pm. The new uptick comes as many people are still working from home. (24:23) Gwenyth Paltrow recently appeared on “The Tonight Show” to promote her new candle “Smells Like My Orgasm”. The candle is priced at $75 and includes ingredients such as gunpowder tea, and tart grapefruit. Brad and the team discuss whether they would buy the candle. . . #BradShowLive #BradBernstein #DREAMERS #HumpDayNews #JohnLewis #TRUMPDACA Attorney Advertisement.
