Kristina Bekker is an Associate Attorney with the Immigration Department at Spar & Bernstein, PC. Prior to joining the firm, Kristina’s primary focus was on family immigration. She has a comprehensive background in representing clients in removal defense, asylum, and cancellation of removal proceedings in Immigration Court. Her commitment to immigration law extends to assisting clients in various matters, including Adjustment of Status, Naturalization, VAWA (Violence Against Women Act), Waivers, Special Immigrant Juvenile Status cases, and Motions to Reopen.

Kristina has helped numerous clients overcome obstacles in Immigration Court and obtain their green card, asylum benefits and status, and citizenship before USCIS. Her expertise in removal defense, asylum, and cancellation of removal cases has made her a trusted advocate for immigrants navigating complex legal processes.

Born in Azerbaijan and having immigrated to the USA at a young age, Kristina personally understands the challenges of the immigration process. Her firsthand experience fuels her passion for assisting immigrants on their journey. She is bilingual in English and Russian, bringing cultural sensitivity to her practice.

Ms. Bekker earned her Bachelor’s degree in Liberal Arts at The City College of New York and her Juris Doctor Degree at New England Law. She is licensed to practice law in the state of New York as well as before the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals.
