As a first-generation American of immigrant parents, Aminata understands the complexities of immigration. Aminata has achieved favorable decisions for many clients over the course of her legal career and has extensive experience with removal defense, bond hearings, family based petitions, fraud & criminal waiver, VAWA, TPS and NACARA..
Prior to joining Spar and Bernstein, Aminata worked in a high volume and fast-paced boutique immigration firm which primarily served Central American clients. She represented clients in all aspect of their removal defense cases.
Aminata graduated from the University of Maine School of Law and Hunter college, with B.A, in French Culture and Civilization and Minor in English.
