G-28, Notice of Entry of Appearance as Attorney or Accredited Representative
The purpose of Form G-28 is to establish the eligibility of an attorney or accredited representative for a client (applicant, requestor, respondent or applicant) in an immigration case before U.S. Department of Homeland Security (DHS). In each case, an attorney or authorized representative present the client in front of the DHS, must file Form G-28. The Form G-28 will only be recognized and approved by U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS), U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP), and U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) if it’s accurately completed and signed by the attorney or authorized representative and the client. You must complete and submit Form G-28 in person at a DHS office.
