

Taryn Pleva is a Senior Associate attorney with Spar & Bernstein, P.C. She has extensive experience representing immigrant clients throughout the United States and for over 18 years, she has assisted many individuals and families in removal proceedings and before USCIS, and Asylum offices. With an approachable manner, Ms. Pleva navigates clients through the process of Adjustment of Status, Naturalization, Consular Processing and VAWA. She has crafted countless successful Waivers and Motions and has been a keen advocate for immigrants.
Ms. Pleva obtained her J.D. from Western New England University and her Bachelor of Arts degree from Syracuse University. Aside from her work experience, Ms. Pleva has prioritized volunteering for the immigrant community and she served as a volunteer Immigration Attorney for the Catholic Charities of the Archdiocese of Newark in New Jersey for 8 years. She also participated in many outreach programs in churches, schools and businesses throughout New Jersey, New York and New England.
Ms. Pleva is a member of the New York State Bar, the United States Court of Appeals, 1st Circuit, and the United States District Court, Eastern District of New York. In addition, she is a member of the American Immigration Lawyers Association.
